Manager/Supervisor
The Senior Acquisitions Associate, Development role focuses on underwriting prospective acquisition and development opportunities, conducting due diligence, and preparing internal and external communications. This position emphasizes building industry relationships and supporting the predevelopment process, particularly for industrial projects in CA and the Southeast.

Responsibilities
  • Support the company's efforts to identify and gain control of new speculative and build-to-suit development opportunities.
  • In charge of predevelopment process including due diligence, entitlements, risk mitigation, and overall deal viability.
  • Underwrite new development opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Development Managers to ensure project plans meet Owners' requirements.
  • Prepare offering memoranda for capital sources and investment packages for Investment Committee.
  • Gather data for budgeted market rents, lease structures, operating expenses, and capital budgets for development projects.
  • Maintain the company's proprietary asset management system data and information.
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with clients, partners, consultants, architects, contractors, and brokers.
  • Support deal document redlining, tracking, and completion for various agreements.
  • Contribute to business plans for development projects and provide analytical support for asset management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or marketing; MBA preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in commercial real estate, finance, investment, or consulting role preferred.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial and real estate terms and principles.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and calculate intermediate figures such as percentages and internal rates of return.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects and consultants.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Project management skills to create achievable project schedules and track progress.
Nice-to-haves
  • Experience in commercial real estate or investment analysis.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and analysis tools.
